Lower Columbia Preservation Society (LCPS) offers limited fee-based preservation services for individuals, businesses and organizations. These services include; historical research, physical assessment, photo documentation, historic context statements and landmark nomination assistance. 

LCPS has only one full-time staff person so capacity for preservation services may be limited. Please email [email protected] or call 971-704-2016 for more information.

General guidance is also available, at no fee, to LCPS members who need some direction in preservation and restoration projects, including brainstorming design ideas and assistance with identifying period-appropriate paint colors. Some property owners may qualify for our fee-free landmark nomination assistance program.

LCPS membership also provides you access to our lending library of resources for extensive guidance on many preservation topics. Non-members are welcome to use library resources during regular office hours or by appointment.
