Lower Columbia Preservation Society to debut new office space this Saturday

​Visit with LCPS board members, enjoy the new office and learn how you can participate!

• LEARN about LCPS’s preservation advocacy activities, including proposed changes to the development code in Astoria and our advocating for thoughtful design review in the waterfront bridges project.
• HEAR about LCPS’s community outreach activities, including partnerships with other organizations, such as the Clatsop County Historical Society and Clatsop Community College.
• VIEW historic preservation projects completed by students at Clatsop Community College and learn about field school scholarships awarded to students last summer by LCPS.
• DISCUSS the preservation of LCPS’s historic apartment building, the Francis Apartments.
• JOIN the board of directors! We are currently looking for additions to our board!

Saturday the 14th is 'Art Walk' night in Astoria so feel free to come and go as you please throughout the evening. Light refreshments will be served. See you there!
